About Mountain View Montessori
Welcome to Mountain View Montessori. We provide the highest quality Montessori education and care to children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. We are open year round, weekdays 6:30am to 6:00pm. A variety of programs (part-time, full-time, ½ day) are available to meet the needs of your child and your family. In addition, we offer ongoing parent education opportunities and optional quarterly Parent’s Night Out and Parent’s Day Out events. Please see our school calendar for details.

We are located in a new, specially designed facility at 13785 Huron Street, Broomfield in Cobblestone Crossing. Our spacious building was designed with the child in mind. Our infant room has heated, cork floors. We have many interior and exterior windows to create a feeling of openness. The exterior windows have been built low to the floor so the children can enjoy the view. We have an indoor Community Room to offer special programs and provide a space to play in the event of extreme weather. Other features include two outdoor, age-appropriate play areas with fun play structures, a vegetable and flower garden, and a tricycle path. Our play areas are fenced and we have secure door access control systems and video cameras in each room and at each door to ensure the safety of the children.

Our staff are highly trained in the Montessori philosophy, early childhood education, development and care. Our lead teachers have at least a bachelor’s degree and Montessori certification, plus many have international experience. We love educating and caring for young children and we enthusiastically accept this important responsibility. The Mountain View Montessori staff are committed to ensuring each child develops a strong educational foundation and a lifelong love for learning.

We offer one Infant, two Toddler, and four Primary classrooms. Each classroom incorporates a wider range of ages than traditional preschool and care facilities. The extended time that the child stays with one teacher allows a strong and caring relationship to form between the child, the family and the teacher. The multi-age environment benefits the children in other ways as well. Older children help the younger ones to learn, and in the process, reinforce their own knowledge. Conversely, the younger children imitate the older classmates and eagerly anticipate the day when they too will know “almost everything.”

We offer a challenging, fun, and well-rounded curriculum. Specific areas of learning include sensorial activities, language arts, mathematics, culture, science, geography, peace education and practical life. We enrich these traditional Montessori offerings by also including Spanish, yoga, art, music, and computer instruction in our curriculum. Optional programs such as catered lunch, dance, piano, karate and gymnastics are available for an additional fee.

Childhood happens only once. Please let Mountain View Montessori ensure that your child makes the best of his or hers! Apply now.
